Jeff's Hayley Recollections:
It was easy for me to develop a crush on Hayley Mills. There was someting so enticing about the boarding school girl type with the British accent that set girls of that genre so much above the typical girl-next-door. Perhaps it was that well-bred quietness that made falling in love with these girls so easy. This is also evidenced by Patty Duke's portrayal of her British cousin "Cathy". Every kid in my class, and on my block all were in love with Cathy.
...however; I knew she only had eyes for me.
